¡Claro que sí! Aunque las bodas pet-inclusive son nuestra especialidad y nuestro corazón, la participación de un peludito no es requisito para el servicio de oficiante. El paquete "The Vows" es exactamente eso: tu ceremonia esencial, íntima, elegante y con toda la validez legal — con o sin mascotas presentes. Every love. Every vow. Everyone. — y ese "everyone" te incluye a ti, vengas con patitas o sin ellas.
¿Quién se encarga de los papeles de la licencia de matrimonio?
Yo. Como abogada-notaria, someto todos los papeles requeridos en el Registro Demográfico para sacar tu licencia de matrimonio, y además te explico todo el proceso y los términos específicos para cerciorarnos de que hagas cada paso dentro del tiempo requerido por ley. Muchos abogados cobran extra por esta gestión — yo te la incluyo. Es la ventaja de que tu oficiante sea también tu abogada.
¿Qué identificación necesitamos?
Cada contrayente debe presentar una identificación con foto vigente expedida por gobierno: licencia de conducir, Real ID, pasaporte o identificación estatal. De ser contrayentes extranjeros, es importante comunicarse conmigo para los detalles específicos de lo que necesitarán.
No vivimos en Puerto Rico — ¿podemos casarnos en la isla?
¡Sí! No se requiere residencia ni visa para contraer matrimonio en Puerto Rico. Es uno de los destinos más accesibles legalmente para destination weddings, y como su matrimonio queda inscrito en un territorio de EE.UU., es reconocido en los 50 estados. Los requisitos específicos pueden variar según el país o estado donde residan — como abogada, te oriento según tu lugar de residencia y coordino el proceso completo con ustedes a distancia y en su idioma.
¿Necesitamos testigos?
Sí — la ley requiere dos testigos mayores de 21 años con identificación con foto vigente expedida por gobierno. Pueden ser de cualquier género.
¿Quién radica el certificado de matrimonio después de la boda?
El celebrante está obligado por ley a entregar el Certificado de Matrimonio al Registro Demográfico dentro de los 10 días siguientes a la ceremonia. Cuando oficio tu boda, esa gestión está incluida — es la ventaja de que tu oficiante sea también abogada-notaria: los términos legales no se me escapan.
¿Mi mascota puede participar legalmente en la ceremonia?
La participación de tu mascota no afecta la validez legal del matrimonio — lo que importa legalmente son los requisitos de los contrayentes, los testigos y el celebrante. Así que sí: tu peludito puede cargar los anillos, caminar contigo al altar o simplemente estar presente. Verifica siempre las políticas del venue; nosotras te ayudamos con esa coordinación.
¿Qué requisitos debe cumplir mi mascota para participar?
Tu peludito debe tener su certificado de vacuna contra la rabia y todas sus vacunas al día. Además, debe tener un comportamiento manejable en ambientes con personas y ruido — esto lo evaluamos durante el meet-up previo, a discreción nuestra, para asegurar una experiencia segura y hermosa para todos, incluyendo tu mascota.
¿Puedo tener a mi perrihijo en la ceremonia sin contratar el Pet Concierge?
¡Claro que sí! Si ya cuentas con alguien de confianza que supervise y cuide a tu mascota durante el evento, los paquetes "The Paws" y "The Everything" están disponibles igual. El Pet Concierge es un servicio opcional para tu comodidad y tranquilidad — no un requisito para tener a tu peludito presente.
¿Puedo contratar el Pet Concierge aunque otra persona oficie mi boda?
¡Sí! Nuestro servicio de Pet Concierge está disponible para cualquier boda o evento en Puerto Rico, sin importar quién sea el oficiante. Si ya tienes oficiante, pastor, juez o celebrante — pero quieres que tu mascota esté presente, cuidada y feliz — nosotras nos encargamos de todo lo relacionado a tu peludito ese día.
¿Preparan capitulaciones matrimoniales (prenup)?
Sí. Como abogada-notaria puedo orientarte y preparar tus capitulaciones matrimoniales. La orientación tiene un costo de $50, el cual se abona al precio total del otorgamiento si decides proceder. Y un dato que pocos conocen: las capitulaciones también pueden otorgarse después de estar casados. Contáctame y conversamos sobre tu situación particular y los tiempos ideales para otorgarlas.
¿Puedes ser maestra de ceremonias de mi evento?
¡Sí! Estoy disponible como
maestra de ceremonias y animadora para tu evento — sea una boda o no, y sin importar si soy o no la oficiante. Aniversarios, actividades corporativas, celebraciones familiares: como comunicadora, le doy ritmo y energía a tu celebración en español, inglés o ambos. La tarifa se discute según el tipo de evento —

¿Hacen renovación de votos?
¡Sí, y son de mis ceremonias favoritas! 💕 Celebramos aniversarios, promesas renovadas y nuevas etapas — bilingües, personalizadas y pet-inclusive, por supuesto. Contáctame para una cotización personalizada según el tipo de celebración que sueñan.

Absolutely! While pet-inclusive weddings are our specialty and our heart, having a furry one participate is not a requirement for officiant services. The "The Vows" package is exactly that: your essential ceremony, intimate, elegant, and fully legal — with or without pets present. Every love. Every vow. Everyone. — and that "everyone" includes you, paws or no paws.
Who handles the marriage license paperwork?
I do. As an attorney-notary, I submit all the required paperwork to the Demographic Registry to obtain your marriage license, and I also explain the entire process and its specific legal deadlines to make sure every step happens within the time required by law. Many attorneys charge extra for this — I include it. That's the advantage of your officiant also being your attorney.
What identification do we need?
Each party must present a valid government-issued photo ID: driver's license, Real ID, passport, or state ID. If you are foreign nationals, it's important to contact me for the specific details of what you will need.
We don't live in Puerto Rico — can we get married on the island?
Yes! No residency or visa is required to get married in Puerto Rico. It's one of the most legally accessible destination wedding locations, and since your marriage is registered in a U.S. territory, it's recognized in all 50 states. Specific requirements can vary depending on the country or state where you reside — as an attorney, I guide you based on your place of residence and coordinate the entire process with you remotely, in your language.
Do we need witnesses?
Yes — the law requires two witnesses over 21 years old with valid government-issued photo ID. They can be of any gender.
Who files the marriage certificate after the wedding?
The officiant is legally required to file the Marriage Certificate with the Demographic Registry within 10 days after the ceremony. When I officiate your wedding, that filing is included — that's the advantage of your officiant also being an attorney-notary: legal deadlines never slip past me.
Can my pet legally participate in the ceremony?
Your pet's participation doesn't affect the legal validity of your marriage — what matters legally are the requirements for the couple, witnesses, and officiant. So yes: your furry friend can carry the rings, walk you down the aisle, or simply be present. Always check your venue's policies; we help with that coordination.
What requirements does my pet need to meet to participate?
Your furry one must have their rabies vaccination certificate and all vaccines up to date. They must also have manageable behavior in environments with people and noise — we assess this during the pre-ceremony meet-up, at our discretion, to ensure a safe and beautiful experience for everyone, including your pet.
Can I have my fur baby at the ceremony without booking the Pet Concierge?
Absolutely! If you already have someone you trust to supervise and care for your pet during the event, "The Paws" and "The Everything" packages are still fully available to you. The Pet Concierge is an optional service for your comfort and peace of mind — not a requirement to have your furry one present.
Can I book the Pet Concierge even if someone else officiates my wedding?
Yes! Our Pet Concierge service is available for any wedding or event in Puerto Rico, regardless of who officiates. If you already have an officiant, pastor, judge, or celebrant — but want your pet present, cared for, and happy — we handle everything related to your furry family member that day.
Do you prepare prenuptial agreements?
Yes. As an attorney-notary I can guide you and prepare your prenuptial agreement (capitulaciones matrimoniales). The consultation costs $50, which is credited toward the total execution price if you decide to proceed. And here's something few people know: they can also be executed after you're already married. Can you be the master of ceremonies for my event?
Yes! I'm available as a
master of ceremonies and event host for your event — whether it's a wedding or not, and whether or not I'm the officiant.
